I’m always happy to hear from the talented writer and stylist Amy Flurry! I was even more thrilled when she asked me to do a photo shoot.
As usual Flurry, along with Atlanta artist Nikki Salk, have been allowing their imaginations to run wild, embarking on A Paper Project, custom-made paper art installations. The pundits of pulp recently sheared paper into whimsically sculptured wigs for New York and Atlanta clothing boutiques Jeffrey. The coiffures graced the crowns of the boutiques stream lined mannequins, attracting the attention of the press and spurring suitors who have commissioned more of the fantastical pieces.

Last week I did a commercial product shoot and portrait session for Iwi Fresh owner Yolanda Owens. Iwi Fresh is a wonderful local Atlanta business that makes natural gourmet skin care products from fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Yolanda was a wonderful client to work with and represents her product well. Her skin is gorgeous and I vividly remember meeting her for the first time because of her warm friendly smile and her lovely scent, Will You Be Mine chocolate and cherry body oil. Delicious!

These portraits were taken at the fabulous Belvedere in Atlanta. Yolanda is such a natural beauty. I don’t think I could have taken a bad photo of her if I had tried. Can you believe she’s a mother of three!
