Na’Cole and Demetrius are getting married tomorrow! In honor of their big day I thought I’d share a few images from their fall engagement session. They’ve been such a great couple to work with and I’m really looking forward to sharing their wedding story with you soon.
We shot at two locations Cafe Intermezzo and Piedmont Park. Na’Cole and Demetrius had their first date at Cafe Intermezzo so shooting at the quaint cafe was a great decision. I love making photo shoots more meaningful to my couples!
Sarah and Cam are the type of couple that you instantly fall in love with. They are both incredibly sweet and kind and so deeply in love with one another. You can see how they feel about each other in every smile, gesture and remark. I was so happy to have the opportunity to get to know them while shooting their engagement photos.
The images were shot at their friend’s farm just south of Atlanta. And even with a sprinkling of rain we had an amazing time exploring the farm, picking fruit and capturing some lovely moments.
I love a great pair of rain boots! The came in handy during our shoot and kept Sarah’s gorgeous sandals from being ruined.
I spent many hours reading the works of Jane Austen as a young girl and remember feeling as though I had stepped into one of her novels when I walked the grounds of Barnsley Gardens. While traipsing through formal boxwood and rose gardens and across the meadows it was easy to imagine that I was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy might just be around the next turn. Today this beautiful gem of a place in north Georgia still appeals to my romantic sensibilities.
When I found out that Jackie and Shawn had gotten engaged at Barnsley and that it was a meaningful place to them as a couple I knew we had to do their engagement session there. I’m thrilled with how the images turned out and am excited to share.
When Adam and Jacquelyn walked through my front door for our first meeting it was obvious that they would photograph well. They are both tall, attractive, and stylish so they are a dream from a visual standpoint. But even better they are down to earth, friendly, fun and are parents to an adorable pug, Dexter, who is going to wear a pink tuxedo at their wedding. After I found out that little fact I just knew I’d pitch a fit if we didn’t get to work together.
I recently had the pleasure of shooting their engagement photos during which Dexter got to tag along. I’m so happy with the images and am looking forward to their September wedding!
We had such a time scheduling this shoot due to rain and calendar conflicts but I’m so happy with the day we finally chose. The fall leaves were in perfect form for this happy couple who are getting married this coming Spring! Enjoy Ashton and Josh’s engagement session shot at the Duck Pond.
This summer I enjoyed a sunny afternoon shooting my cousin Ellen’s engagement photos. It was great getting to know her fiance Jordan. We had a great shoot at a farm in south Fulton and Jackson, the couples miniature Schnauzer tagged along as well.
Ellen and I live just a few blocks from one another and sadly hadn’t seen one another in years until one day we were both walking our black miniature schnauzers. We were talking for a few minutes about our adorable dogs before it dawned on me… this is my cousin Ellen. Now we can thank Scout and Jackson for bringing us together.
A lovely couple and a glorious sunny day in the park! We had the opportunity this summer to get to know Reena and Sapan during an engagement session at Piedmont Park and I couldn’t be more happy with their images. I was so honored to spend time with these two, who so obviously adore each other.
