This past spring Amy Flurry and Nikki Salk of Paper-Cut-Project asked me to photograph their latest project commissioned by Hermes. The duo’s custom made paper art installations first attracted attention last year when their paper wigs were featured in the window’s of both Jeffrey Atlanta and New York location. The paper coiffures that brought Salk and Flurry media attention also attracted Hermes who commissioned them to do a series of beast themed masks. I had the opportunity to photograph three of the pieces before they were shipped to Paris.
The project has been kept under wraps but I’m happy to finally have the opportunity to share these images with you. The paper creations are so lovely and whimsical and make me think of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
This is one of my favorite images from the shoot. A chicken ran through my frame and I always love the unexpected!
I love sweet treats! And I must say I’m totally smitten with the King of Pops and their delicious frozen creations. We recently had the opportunity to do a product shoot for the pop pushers and thought I’d share some of the images.
If you have a craving after viewing the images place an order with Zifty at the following link https://www.zifty.com/zifty/browsepops.jsp or go to the their corner across from Manuels Tavern on North Highland Ave.

A custom “Freedom Pop” was made for the 4th of July.
Last week I did a commercial product shoot and portrait session for Iwi Fresh owner Yolanda Owens. Iwi Fresh is a wonderful local Atlanta business that makes natural gourmet skin care products from fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Yolanda was a wonderful client to work with and represents her product well. Her skin is gorgeous and I vividly remember meeting her for the first time because of her warm friendly smile and her lovely scent, Will You Be Mine chocolate and cherry body oil. Delicious!
The following are product shots and portraits taken during our two day shoot. Enjoy the photos and place your orders at www.iwifresh.com
The first set of portraits were taken at The Globe restaurant in Atlanta.
These portraits were taken at the fabulous Belvedere in Atlanta. Yolanda is such a natural beauty. I don’t think I could have taken a bad photo of her if I had tried. Can you believe she’s a mother of three!
Thanks to Belvedere and The Globe for letting us use your wonderful spaces!
