Zinnia Design Dining

I adore food shoots so it was easy to make time for Rory Moon of Zinnia Design when he asked me to shoot a few dishes for his website. Moon has worked for two of Atlanta’s best restaurants, Watershed and Floataway Cafe and is now cooking for small private dinner parties. We both share a love of simple tasty food and I’m just itching to hire him to cook in my home. If you’re interested in having Moon come to your home to cook or do event design for your next party or wedding please contact him at 404.503.5081 or visit his blog http://zinniadesign.blogspot.com/

Enjoy the images!

Roasted beets with a cashew puree

Cauliflower soup, so creamy velvety… I love this dish.

Lamb chop with salsa verde

A smear of blue cheese used for the shoot

This is a lovely summer dish… corn gazpacho

Dessert… Oh how I love thee!!!

Buttermilk Pana Cotta accompanied with honey and figs… so simple and elegant. This is one of my favorite desserts.

My favorite image from the shoot.

We did the shoot at my uncle’s beautiful home in Grant Park and I couldn’t help but to take a few still life shots in his home.

Reena and Sapan

A lovely couple and a glorious sunny day in the park! We had the opportunity this summer to get to know Reena and Sapan during an engagement session at Piedmont Park and I couldn’t be more happy with their images. I was so honored to spend time with these two, who so obviously adore each other.
