KING KONG RETURNS
Okay, so if you know me well you know that I love old movies! This is partially due to my wonderful parents. As a kid we rented films by Alfred Hitchcock (luckily these never caused nightmares), and always tuned into great westerns and classics (with a few of my favorite actors like Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn and Carey Grant).
So I was really excited when the Plaza Theatre played the origianl KING KONG this past weekend. No kids Jack Black was not in the original and it was not in color!
I really loved the flick! The special effects were a bit archaic by todays standards, even a bit laughable…but who could forget the famous Fay Wray scream. And my favorite the Kong’s final scene on the Empire State building…really touching.

I for one was happy to see snow in Atlanta this weekend…or at least my vain side was happy. I recently bought a pair of cute rain boots and get a little giddy every time the weather man predicts precipitation. So of course I was thrilled every time my miniature schnauzer Scout whinned at the door to go outside this weekend.
Hears to more snow!!
Below are few photos from Atlanta’s snowy weekend.
My nose is cold but my feet are toasty!

Bull Dawgs get cold too.

Mom, can we go outside?
